Wetsuit Amazon Content
Infographic & A+ Content
This Amazon content was designed for a well-known swimwear brand that rose in popularity due to its early wetsuit designs that date back to the 1950s. The company branched out into other swimwear apparel and is now a famous brand amongst water lovers. After researching on the company website, it became evident that the Amazon content needed to be packed with ocean imagery.
Branding and photography were substituted for confidentiality purposes.
About the project
After seeing the level of rich imagery that was used on the brand website, I turned to Adobe Stock to find lifestyle images of people wearing wetsuits. I wanted these images to be full of action with lots of movement. My mind immediately thought to find photos of surfers, but I soon realized I needed to expand my scope to other water activities where people may use the wetsuit. Advertising many different activities markets the versatility of the wetsuit to shoppers.
After finding several stock photos that worked with the brand image and aesthetics, I began forming the layout of the A+ content. I wanted the wetsuit imagery to flow together with the layout and feel like part of the scene. I layered the wetsuit over an image of a wave in order to achieve this look.
To complete the A+ content, I added branded text and icons that matched the yellow and black brand colors. These elements tied together the imagery with company’s unique brand.
Lastly, I created an infographic image and a size chart that stuck with the brand. I carried over the same graphic icons from the A+ content to use in the infographic.
After the template was approved, I applied the design to other wetsuit variations and uploaded all of the content to the Amazon page.
